COOLBLOCK uses Liquid Coolant as the means of heat dissipation, with the IT equipment fully immersed in a tank filled with Liquid Coolant, which is perfectly compatible with COOLBLOCK’s infrastructures. On contrast with air-cooling systems, the IT equipment is protected from Oxidization and dust particles that derive with their contact with air.
Furthermore, it is widely known that liquids have a higher heat conductivity coefficient. Simply explained: they conduct heat better than gases. Because of their chemical composition liquids are denser than gases, so their molecules can transfer heat faster and more efficient. COOLBLOCK has created a mix of chemical substances that can conduct heat 1,400 times better than air.
With Liquid Coolant heat is dissipated in a uniform way, preventing sudden temperature changes and uneven temperature deviation throughout the IT Equipment. Avoiding such heat shocks, Hardware can work for longer without thermal stresses. Protection from heat shocks in combination with protection from oxidization and dust, increases hardware longevity up to 30%.
Suitable for temperatures up to 400°C Liquid Coolant can support big workloads with great deviation, keeping the operational efficiency of the IT Equipment stable and reliable throughout load fluctuations.
COOLBLOCK’s Liquid Coolant provides with a safe cooling solution not only for HW but also for the environment and its users. Not only it has a life span of 20 years, supporting the sustainability of the whole system, but it is biocompatible and safe for contact with the skin.
Even if a COOLBLOCK product is purchased today, its Liquid Coolant will last for the next 20 years, without need for replacement. COOLBLOCK’s Solutions (Archemedes, Athena) allow constant filtering of the Liquid Coolant, so there is no requirement for external cleaning. This leads of course to a decrease in operational and material costs, while increasing the efficiency of the total system.
Liquid Coolant is provided by COOLBLOCK with the purchase of any product, while extra containers can be provided to the customer afterwards if needed.
